From a lantern in a Bihar village to teaching the world
I understand a common family's struggle because I have lived it. Education changed my life — and now I help change yours.
A humble start
I grew up in a small village in Siwan, Bihar, with very limited means — the son of a farmer and a mother who couldn't read, one of five siblings. We didn't have much, but I was endlessly curious.
Studying by lantern-light
There was no electricity in the village for most of my childhood — it reached us only around 2004–05. I read and studied under a lantern, in the early mornings and late nights, hungry to learn.
Self-taught, book by book
From a Hindi-medium government school, I taught myself — and slowly built fluent English in reading, writing and speaking — through relentless reading. Books were, and still are, an integral part of who I am.
Self-funded BScIT & MCA
A private college was simply unaffordable, so I earned my BScIT and MCA through distance education — and funded my own studies and expenses by teaching students along the way.
A teacher, then an engineer
I taught school children first, then DCA, ADCA and PGDCA students, then BCA and BScIT learners. I then spent 7+ years as a Senior Software Engineer and QA Automation Engineer at large global MNCs.
Teaching the world, online
Today the village has dependable power and fast internet — even 5G. From the very place where I once studied by lantern, I now teach students anywhere in the world. Where you start need not decide where you go.
